For what it's worth, I would absolutely be on board if both were still a big part of the squad next season. I would be particularly gutted if Chappers left as he plays that position unbelievably well in the system.
With that being said, it's pretty clear that we have a bottleneck at those positions with Clarke, Philogene, Szmodics, Broady, Chappers, Hutch all possibly vying for those two positions.

They are certainly worth more to us than we might get but 13 goals in the Championship is normally worth a decent chunk.

Philogene 22M, Clarke 15M and Szmodics 8M and I don’t think any have proven to be better than Chaplin and Broadhead so it would be crazy to sell them if their market value is much less. |  |

If Chappers can have the consistency required in the Champ and Broady play more regularly I think they might hold some value but using past experience I don’t think we could accrue £12m for them combined sorry | |

When selling something you can only gauge on what they've done to know what their free should be.
Both of these midfielders in their 20s have bagged 13 goals in the Championship as they secured promotion. As a selling club we would highlight this and demand £6m each surely.
By the way, both of these players scored more Championship league goals than Hutchinson & Philogene. | |

Fair values imo. The trustworthy internet estimates Chappers around £7m and Broady £5m. I wouldn't want to sell either at anything close to a fair value mind! £15m each and that prices them out of the market.
I was amazed we spent £8m on Ogbene (no dislike, I just hadn't twigged he was that good from what I'd seen of him, then read Luton fan comments online, who were in slight disbelief at the offer). Maybe it's wrong to think of this transfer as a benchmark but I do, with Ogbene a similar age. | | | |

Instinct says £5m - £7m but then you wonder who the market is, and whether those clubs are looking to spend that sort of money. I can't see either getting a premier league move, so you would perhaps only then be looking at a handful of Championship clubs. I could perhaps see a Birmingham or Boro being interested, they've paid similar money for players relatively recently.

We signed Ogbene as a Premier League club though, which definitely inflated the price.
I think the valuations of Broadhead and Chaplin depend on the division of the club that is trying to buy them. Realistically I only see them attracting interest from Championship clubs and I don’t see anyone bar Brum or Wrexham having remotely the financial clout to pay the sort of fees that are being suggested | |
