What a great day that was, the Blue Army chant midway through the first half, the delayed reaction to Broadhead's goal and then Hirst running through a minute later.

Found a cracking micropub up there too.

Well that was grim.
I did not enjoy that at all ! Especially not Chappers cheeky dink over the top.

I suggest showing it on the team bus for Saturday.

Best birthday present I had that day!

(Yes folks, it is my birthday today).

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

So much good “on this day” content from the past 2 seasons around this time of year.

Hull & Coventry anniversary on its way.

Mad that every single one of the starters that night has played in the premier league this season… what a journey.

I’m not sure which Leeds match I enjoyed watching more last season; that one or when they stuffed Norwich in the play offs.

Certainly doesn't feel like the two-year anniversary. I remember it being warm and a Tuesday.

I was on the 0541 to work early doors. Left London at 1530…

Got diverted at Doncaster and was on a train with (his name escapes me - the poor disabled lad who passed away recently, in the wheelchair) anyway, the train he and I got diverted on had no disable access. The staff at the station couldn’t/wouldn’t help. So I managed to carry him up a load of stairs.

Then on arrival to Barnsley I asked some police if they could help get him to the ground (as I was going in a different direction to the pub, to which they said it wasn’t their job… unbelievable. So I pushed him to the ground.

Might have been my finest hour as a human, but I wasn’t having him miss that game or that moment.

Saw him again at Plymouth away, where he didn’t remember any of that Barnsley trip 😂

RIP matey.

But what a 90mins!

Oh and I was at Oxford for my 18th on 25/04/1992.

Gavin Johnson for us, some bloke called Magilton for them. 1-1. Climbing sheer fences at the end in new(ish) Joe Bloggs jeans was a bit of a mare.

I turned my phone off for that QPR game, wife said to me at about 2230 ‘did you want to know the score in that game now?’

She’d been watching it on the bbc site ‘would 4-0 QPR be a good score?’… then turned the phone round, my legs went a bit and I felt sick

Tom Tomalin.

I don't think there's a Town fan around who hasn't pushed him to or from a train station somewhere.

RIP Tom.

It was ridiculously impressive on the TV. That wall of us filling the whole away end and the roar when we scored was spine tingling.

Was in a university classroom in Oklahoma, 6000 miles from Barnsley. Had to excuse myself after Chaplin scored our third to go and punch the air in the corridor.

I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton
