So Omari has a release clause of..... on 11:49 - May 2 by Garv
When I think of Omari from this season I think of the clip from 0:43 against United. Lovely stuff.
Also a classic bit of Burns wing play. One of the saddest elements of his this season was his injury, he was starting to show his worth after a fairly underwhelming start.
This Ipswich team is so much better when Wes Burns plays.
They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

We should have taken six points from United this year.
Those clips there showed a real what could have been had we kept some players fit. We seemed so much more full of energy in that part of the season.

Spot on with Omari and this clip. The way he took the ball and retained it, turned away from Evans under pressure and then played the ball forwards to create an attack is very good. There's plenty more examples out there from this season too, he's done it a number of times.
This is what clubs keeping tabs on him will like because he can look after the ball and get turned. It's not a one off, it's a part of his game.
As much as I'd love Omari to stay, there will be a steady PL club who pay the money knowing that he can be integrated into their squad without the pressure on his shoulders of high expectations from the start.
I think Omari needs to be very careful as he could end up in a long list of English players who flatter to deceive. Thinking about the transfer market it's a minefield and as we know the Championship isn't the same in any respect to the Premier League where it appears that you need strong running athletic type players.' I would think if we got 35 million that would be a decent figure for Hutchinson as long as the money was used wisely. With the parachute payments it may be in our interests to buy before selling as other clubs will see £35 million flashing in front of them and want more for their players. Also I'd like to see us going abroad for a couple of players.

Think the important thing to note is that, in my opinion, his struggles came during the first third/half of the season. During the second half he's been one of our most important players when available - that's the only issue currently, injuries.
On the whole I think he's improved massively over the season. Early on I felt I was constantly bemoaning how slight he was and how easy it was to knock him off the ball, but that's an element that's seems to have improved a lot.
I’m not sure he has improved that much as the season has gone on, think he’s done ok, in a struggling team, but hasn’t really been any sort of shining light.
How people think he’s gone from what £18m to £35m off the back of this season makes me chuckle.

I really hope Omari stays…I not sure he’s shown enough for an established team to come in for him so it’s Leeds or Burnley. Don’t see either of those teams are great options for him.
I know there’s not much loyalty in football but where would he be without the coaching he’s had the last few seasons? He goes to a premiership team and spends most of his time on the bench how will that develop his career, if he stays with us pretty much plays every match he’s fit and hopefully will be one the best players in the championship. Then if we don’t get promotion he’ll have better teams coming after him and I don’t think anyone would begrudge him moving on.

I’d rather keep Hutchinson. He has the potential to be a real top end player. He’s learning all the time.
I think he’s done alright this season, given the lack of service, new faces and the challenge of playing in a much higher standard of football than the Championship.
I guess it comes down to him and what he wants to do. If he feels the PL is where he has to be then let him go for what we can get and wish him well. If he wants to stay, brilliant.

We paid best part of £22mil didn't we and I'm not sure if anything on top. I certainly think a full season in the Prem and not looking out of place in a struggling team will have increased his value. £35 million would be very too end but we don't have to sell, He's English so it would require a premium to be paid.
Clubs will be interested and I think £25 mil offers for sure and likely a bit more. Whatever the bid I hope we keep him because he's a player (with some others) that will give us the advantage o er other sides next year.

Reported as £20M plus £2.5M performance based add-ons.
You can't but think that Omari is pivotal to KmK's plans, and it would take a lot to pry him away from the club.
