So who has got the bottle for next year? 20:03 - May 5 with 1028 views | victorysquad | Are we full of a bunch of players that are all on the phone to their agents, with their 1 year premier league experience under their belts saying "find me a new contract, get me out of here" or have we got a team that is going to stay and get us back up there next year? I have no doubt that our finishing squad, given another crack at it, would stay in the League. So who is staying and fighting for the club and who is bottling it? For me, the bottlers are: 1. Phillips (top of the pile) 2. Delap 3. Omari 4. O'Shea 5. Cajuste (sorry but I don't think he will stay) [Post edited 5 May 20:04]

"Bottling it" is a most bizarre phrase to use here on 20:07 - May 5 with 985 views | Dyland | Not to mention nonsensical, and incorrect :)

So who has got the bottle for next year? on 20:14 - May 5 with 944 views | StNeotsBlue | Bizarre. Two of those aren't our players, Delap is just about the hottest young English prospect going so is bound to attract a ton of interest. I'd love for Cajuste, Omari and Liam to stay but it's inevitable we lose at least two of them, nothing to do with a lack of bottle.

Is there not an element of "we took you down, we will take you back up?" We've backed them all the way throughout their development......

So who has got the bottle for next year? on 20:43 - May 5 with 771 views | SuffolkPunchFC | Well, to start with, the 2 on loan might not even have a choice - if the club that they belong to won’t entertain a new loan with us (remember, their loans terminate at the end of May, so it would require a new loan agreement). You haven’t thought this out very well have you.

Fortunately I have, they will approach their loan clubs and say "I took them down can I take them up again?" - if they have any integrity [Post edited 5 May 20:49]

Why would they do that? That's not integrity it's just being weird.

You're going to have to accept that none of them are Town fans so won't share your slightly odd sense of expected loyalty.

That's a pretty bizarre take. They're on loan, they are players of another team. Integrity doesn't even come into the equation. That's without the bottlers nonsense in the original post.

Maybe we should focus on 'our players" 2. Delap 3. Omari 4. O'Shea But you get the point - how many of the existing team will 'bag' the season in the prem vs fight for the club? [Post edited 5 May 21:03]

Another way to look at is that they are the players that may be in demand, and therefore not the players that took us down. The other side of the coin is why should they stay, we failed them as a club by not giving them a competitive team around them and we relegated them. I don't think either is true incidentally, but it really is such a strange take.

yes it is a different take, I guess if they have performed, they are in demand. If they performed, they deserve their break. But that means we are going to lose our best players, which hurts. [Post edited 5 May 21:06]

It's always been that way, even well before Trevor Francis went to Forest for a million. It's how football works, there's no need to question players' integrity or bottle.

You need to reconnect with reality then if you think it could work like that. The owning club will do what is right for them. There is maybe an outside chance of Cajuste coming back if the two clubs agree something that works for both, but ManC will likely have much more lucrative options for Phillips. This place has gone mad with people either trolling or being overly negative. On the 5% chance you aren’t trolling, on what planet does two loan players returning to their parent clubs signify bottling? [Post edited 6 May 0:17]

So who has got the bottle for next year? on 21:24 - May 5 with 463 views | MattinLondon | Is this satire or are you actually being serious. I just don’t know anymore - please can someone help me out here as I really have no idea. The other day I was watching ‘The Thick of It’ on iplayer. I’ve always liked it and thought that it was very funny but at the time I did think that it was a tad over-the-top. Bit now, now it seems perfectly sane - what the f**k is going on? Please can someone help.
So who has got the bottle for next year? on 21:25 - May 5 with 464 views | berkstractorboy | Good grief this is an awful take. Accusing Delap of being a bottler when he has given everything but can rightly earn more money and a possible crack at the England squad for next summer and you begrudge a player that. Players work hard to reach the top leagues and if they are given another chance at another club you begrudge them that? That's just football it happens to all teams.

So, based on your logic should Cameron Humphreys stay at Wycombe? He helped get them up, surely he should help them stay up
