I'd like to see an exciting game first and foremost. The games so far in all divisions have been a bit disappointing by and large. Second legs do tend to be better but obviously last night was virtually done before k.o.
I think Sunderland will do enough tonight and lose to Sheff U in final, which is the best outcome for us. |  |

From what I’ve seen so far, Rudoni gets into decent areas, but he’s not worth top dollar.
Lots of good defending and energy from Sunderland and that Mayenda looks a good player. Coventry pass it well. The boy Sakamoto is getting around the pitch and looks lively but the rest are not really impressing me.
Some of the gamesmanship (cheating) from Sunderland is pretty impressive and it’ll be interesting to see if the rather weak ref sends one of the Coventry players off.
Edit: The Coventry 3 is a nice little player too. [Post edited 13 May 21:11]

I know what you mean about Lampard.
Strives for humble but always comes across as a bit too pleased with himself.
One of that hapless trio of him, Gerrard & Rooney who were part of the so-called golden generation that couldn’t subsequently coach their way out of a paper bag despite having played under some excellent managers during their playing careers.
That said, he’s made a better fist of it than the other two chancers. | |

You can see why they've fallen off so badly late in the season. Playing with no confidence whatsoever, they've essentially tried to defend for 180 minutes. The only reason they're still in this is the goal they were gifted late in the first leg. | | | |
