No, they didn’t bottle it. They just ran out of steam in the last ten mins and Sunderland took their chance.

I think he has probably been a bit unlucky where he has ended up, I know Mick Mills was keen on him before we got McKenna
Coventry for me have one of the better squads in the Championship, I would say they have underperformed in recent seasons, since losing that final to Luton but did step up in the FA Cup obviously

Yet with Derby reached the final after beating Leeds at Elland Road coming from 2-0 down on aggregate to win 4-2. Not sure it can be classed as bottling when he has taken a team from 17th to 6th in 6 months.
I don’t understand the dislike for Lampard, he has done well in the championship generally and struggled at Chelsea where far more established names have failed. [Post edited 14 May 8:00]
