I am really not clear why people are so excited by Oshea or Greaves. We have been consistently not good enough at the back all season.

Playing so little football over 3 seasons, also means that injury is more likely, due to lack of competitive football.

I was flippant before, but my issue is why do we keep persisiting with a back four. It does not work. Our best performances of the season (Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham, even Brighton we were competitive) came with a back three.
I understand Burns' injury underminded that somewhat, and definitely reduces our options on that side. But I wish we had stuck with it for longer, or returned to it sooner. | |

A agree with the general comment. I don’t see any better players in the squad though. Greaves has been arguably the most underwhelming player for me. He is young though and could improve but lacks pace. Everyone in this squad can be replaced. Interesting summer ahead. I inability to win tackles and turn of the ball will be the most important issue to address imo. |  |

I still don't get why Woolf signed a new contract with us, to be honest. He would have been better off moving on. Even if O'Shea is sold I think McKenna will be looking for a replacement.
