If we win it’s proof 2025 hasn’t been a total shambles, just a whole 5 months of small margins, it was always going to happen and we’ve proved we’ll be ready to hit the ground running next season.
If we lose yet again, it’s a dead game that means nothing, they have bigger, faster, expensive players who know where the net is, know how to defend as a unit and anyone who expected more than one win at home this season just doesn’t understand football given the huge step up in class.

I can’t think of any game we’ve ever needed to win less.
Most end of season matches before the last 2 seasons?
I do feel that we have been so poor ending the season with another win would give us something to cling to ready for next season. I have a fear that we will carry our poor form into next season.
The West Ham match is like trying to get a young child to go to bed who repeatedly states ‘just one more minute’. With you desperately not wishing to get angry but very very tired.

going out on a high, pride and hopefully finishing above Leicester, with the financial reward that comes with that, are very good reasons why we need to try and win.

The exec boxes behind me are going to be full with them.
The guaranteed "We'll never play you again" chant.
Course I want them beat.

I'd suggest a win Sunday is needed. We need to go into the summer break with a feeling that we can actually win a game. Start next season eith another loss, and the tumbleweed starts to roll and I'd say the pressure immediately builds. Toen will be under enough pressure next season as it us being no foubt, one of the favourites for promotion. I'm not even sure about that anymore, it's been that long since we've won a game. We have been able to beat Saint's or Leicester over the four games this season. A win is a must, to reset things.
I barely get to go to games (I've only been to one game this year away at Old Trafford) but honestly, I hope we win just to give the home crowd something to cheer. They deserve it after this season

I've been quite surprised the numbers of away fans that have been let into Issacs lately. Especially the Brentford game, the place was crawling with fans showing their colours and singing as I walked past on the way to the game. They always have bouncers on the door and I've never really noticed many away fans at all there earlier this season or previous ones.

Without being all negative, we are miles away from being ready for next season whatever way the game goes which is why this has no bearing for on the pitch next season. For the fans, that’s a different matter, we could all do with a home win to carry into the summer. We can see the negatively starts early next year if Aug and Sept don’t see us winning the league by Oct.

It was full of Boro fans when they were down here last season, was a great atmosphere.
I think Leeds lost the early game that day which probably helped.
Would be nice though innit. Finish the season with a win, 5th of the season and would give us a decent chance of jumping above Leicester and an extra £3m given they've got Muff away. Plus its West Ham, always good to beat them.

I remember that day well. Was walking along the dockside and heard an almighty roar come from Issacs and realised Leeds must have conceded. Sammie Szmodics scored the winner for Blackburn
