I just said on the other post he's passed more in ten minutes than sixty minutes for Town.
Not surprising, when he played for us 99% of the time he was stranded alone up front while the rest of the team were passing the ball sideways and backwards in our own half.

So noticeable isn't it... so what's that down to. Mckenna's way vs the Chelsea way? No running with his head down with the ball from the half way line!

cole palmer and enzo fernandez better than jens cajuste and jack taylor shock.

Probably the world class players he is surrounded by I imagine. Must help.
He was always going to be a good player. With Chelsea players around him he'll shine. I'm just delighted to have seen him in a town shirt. Hell of a player I hope he goes on to have a great career.

Really no need to use this to have a jab at McKenna.
Chelsea simply have better players. Their two CM's is the most expensive CM pairing in football history.

That game against Chelsea will live long in the memory. Maybe a poor comparison because he was the only genuine PL quality player we had so he stuck out a mile, but it was probably the best performance I'd seen from a no.9 at Portman Road before.

What is so noticeable is that Maresca still hasn't beaten McK in either the Championship or the Prem.

The one before that that springs to mind was Dalian Atkinson against Middlesbrough in 1988, a game which I attended.

Of course I understand re the quality of players around him will help. It help any player.
Edit: FAO of stokieblue. If you read my original post again, yiu will see i have asked the question, is it the difference between coaching. That's not a dig at McK at all and certainly wasnt intended to be so . If you perceive it is, that's your problem. Questions are allowed to asked you know! I've only seen your post because I'm working somewhere different today and your not blocked on that computer. All other computer access to this forum, I've blocked you along with 2-3 other gaslights on here. So don't waste your time answering this post, although I doubt you'll be able to refrain, as you like the sound of your own voice on here, which is very boring, hence the block. Have a good day

You really need to start using some context.

Absolutely this... the game that showed what could have been was Bournemouth away when he and Enciso reslly meshed well , the fact he never really got a chance to form a settled relationship in a consistent team really hurt our chances
