Permanent players only, no loans.

Adeymi, might be harsh given his circumstance.

Moshni

Who else?

Oh dear. That really is a list of dross. Bajner: beanpole bloke, comedy hopeless.

Didn’t Stevenson scuttle off back to Scotland homesick? I remember him being bigged up when he arrived and it sort of ended there.

Vlado Bozinovski ... surprised not to see him on here..didn't he come with Bontcho much like Paz came with Tarrico ?

Best thing about Fearon was the heeeeeeeeeeeeeres Ronnie...shining esque goal kicks from the crowd.

I have been reading https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilel_Mohsni as I have no memory of Bilal Moshni. Turns out we signed him on loan from Southend after he initially refused an extended trial with us. He made five substitute appearances. Later he returned to Southend and apparently refused to train at one point. He later moved into Rangers, who I suppose were in the lower leagues back then after they dropped down.

Stevenson did score an absolute banger of a goal at Doncaster on the final day of the 2011/12 season (W3–2). Long-range strike that I think went in off the underside of the bar.

Stevenson's rocket.

With a fanfare about him being an international if I remember rightly. The hype was the high point.

That was his only goal so I’m glad it was a good un. I remember the game the week before at PR against Millwall. A dismal humping 3-0. Not the only one that season either. Mind you, looking at the squad, pitiful doesn’t cover it. One player hasn’t been mentioned yet. I give you -

Ivar Ingimarsson. He rolled in from Reading on a free transfer. Presumably to ‘do a job’ so beloved by those that like aged hasbeens and pension seekers.

They should have paid us to take him. Well into his 30s, lead boots, couldn’t get off the ground, tackle, pass, head or anything else. Stats say he was 6ft 1ins. He didn’t look it to me. It was obvious after five mins he was washed up and here for his dough. He made Ibrahim Sonko look good. Well, maybe not.

Unless I missed his name, I can’t believe that no one has mentioned Tony Dining - just a boring and awful player.

He has been mentioned but he was a loanee. Thank goodness. Because you are right. Dinning was utterly dreadful.

Blond bloke. I don’t remember him being that bad, but his time here was mostly during the depressing Duncan years so it might be my rubbish memory. 63 appearances, 8 goals between 88 and 91.

He was obviously better than I thought. Perhaps I was just p!ssed at him for not being John Wark...

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

He wasn’t the worst, but wasn’t great either.

It’s so long ago it’s hard to remember what a hangover it was after Robson’s team was broken up. Pretty much all the players coming in looked well down on their predecessors which of course they were. Add in two rubbish managers, largely poor football, shrinking crowds it really wasn’t a great time.

Kevin Foley was actually alright tbf.

Must have only played about 5 games but he was one of our better players in them. Probably says more about who was playing around him.....
