So with Delap, Hutch, Tuanzebe and Cajuste all not around next season, arguably our strongest four starters (yea yeah Stokie and crew, I said arguably) have all gone (or going in Hutch’s case).
Are we worried?
Clearly there is a huge gap between Prem and championship and even without those four, we should be ok…. But I’m just a little worried.

Team relegated to the Championship is weaker than they were in the PL shocker! It’s normal. We’ve also currently still got two of the best attacking Championship midfielders in Szmodics and Clarke. Massively improved defence with O’Shea and Greaves. And possibly improved our keeper too. We’re in no way weaker than we were last time we were in the Championship.
If it makes you feel any better, Burnley had 16 departures last summer, excluding loans, and about 13/14 new arrivals. |  |

I’d say O’Shea, Johnson, Greaves and Clarke is a pretty decent defence in the Championship. Midfield and a No.9 is key, but I am sure these are being worked through now given who we have let leave | | | |
