So with Delap, Hutch, Tuanzebe and Cajuste all not around next season, arguably our strongest four starters (yea yeah Stokie and crew, I said arguably) have all gone (or going in Hutch’s case).
Are we worried?
Clearly there is a huge gap between Prem and championship and even without those four, we should be ok…. But I’m just a little worried.

Team relegated to the Championship is weaker than they were in the PL shocker! It’s normal. We’ve also currently still got two of the best attacking Championship midfielders in Szmodics and Clarke. Massively improved defence with O’Shea and Greaves. And possibly improved our keeper too. We’re in no way weaker than we were last time we were in the Championship.
If it makes you feel any better, Burnley had 16 departures last summer, excluding loans, and about 13/14 new arrivals. |  |

Hmmmmm...we've lost Tuanzebe and Burgess who were both out of contract, and Delap that the whole football world knew was moving on. I imagine they're still hoping most of the squad will be kept - O'Shea's new contract suggests that's the case. |  | | |

Until we get to 20 players moving out we will still be behind Burnley’s record in last summers transfer window. (They lost 20 and brought in 15). So far I make it 8 gone from last seasons squad
