Yep, that’s it unfortunately. Luckily the next two away (league) games are effectively unlimited amount (up to 5/6,000) - would be great to sell that fro PNE and Blackburn.

Birmingham sold out 10 minutes into 25+ bracket. on 15:31 - Jul 22 with 2573 views | skinnybob72 | There were folk on here saying that being a Friday night, etc it would get to 20+, maybe even 15+ - was never gonna happen. There will be close to 2k who went to almost every game last season - so unless we get large allocations like Preston & Blackburn most away games will sell out at stages 1 or 2.
Birmingham sold out 10 minutes into 25+ bracket. on 15:38 - Jul 22 with 2480 views | Duckegg | Maybe something for the club to think about down the line, but the away ticket scheme could probably do with a bit of a refresh at some point. I get why it was set up the way it is, and I’m not totally against it, but it’s starting to feel a bit like a closed shop. If you're in a lower bracket, you’ve got pretty much no chance, and the higher brackets just keep getting in because they already can. Feels like being a member might not be worth it for some fans if it stays like this.....

It definitely isn’t worth it, but the system is the fairest way to do it unfortunately

Horse has bolted on that one really. Think the club could have done more to broaden the base of people who could get their foot in the door when they started the new system but can't really do anything about it now.

Not sure it is starting to feel like a closed shop, it has been a closed shop for a long time now. The way it will change is if we start having less success, which we hope won't happen of course. I was hoping they would increase the ballot % this year, to try and sell more memberships. A lot of members will lower points won't renew and the 40 tickets in the ballot for 2K away days is pretty pointless, no-one will buy a membership for that chance.

I was thinking along the lines of allocating a % to each banding, including general sale. Weighting the allocations so the high bracket get more and allowing higher bracket fans to buy lower bracket allocations ...... but at least I would know I'd be in a bundle to get a ticket down the line.

Birmingham sold out 10 minutes into 25+ bracket. on 16:57 - Jul 22 with 1787 views | LRB84UK | Had a bit of a panic as they changed the layout slightly! I used to click a box that asked how many tickets were required.... this didn't exist today! I clicked 2 seats and they were unavailable Hit the best available button and could then select 2 seats. I hate it when things change

Was always going to sell out at speed in that bracket. Wrexham, QPR, Norwich will be fun.

Birmingham sold out 10 minutes into 25+ bracket. on 18:00 - Jul 22 with 1324 views | ArnieM | I think the club needs to look at away ticket allocation again, now. Supply is very short and demand high. This is extremely unlijely to change all season. But on the current sales criteria, only a small number of the SAME fans will ever stand a chance of getting to an away game. The points system now becomes a kind of closed situation to every other Town fan, who are just as loyal but for one reason or another have never been able to buy tickets and accumulate more points. Sonthosecwith mistake pints, simply get the tickets and accumulate even more points. Tickets sales never reaching those fans on points say, between 15-25...or whatever level... I dont know what the answer is. There's no easy solution, but it's probably almost now fairer to make it an open house, first come first served for each away game..... then people all have the same opportunity / chance to get a ticket.

In what way is that fairer? The people who can buy tickets are those who have invested hard yards (and good money) over a number of years and therefore it is their right to continue to go and support the club should they want to. If you wanted a ticket today you have plenty of opportunity to get one in the past to be in their shoes.

First game of the season always going to be high demand however they do it. Will be plenty of opportunity for others but just have to buy the membership so they can start to accumulate points. The next two will make 5+ easily. Bristol City will get down there amongst others.
