With so much traffic in his way to get in the team I suspect he’s worth more to someone else than he is to us too.
He’s a lovely player but I think it’s probably past the point of no return and he’s either going now or next summer for nothing. |  | | |

When you look at squad numbers you wonder whether Fin Barbrook does end up hanging around as 5th centre midfielder this year. McKenna generally likes 27-28 in the squad and we just don't have the U21s in the squad to make that a reality

You can sign an unregistered player and add to the squad *if* you have space in your list of 25, but I don't believe you can de-register one and register another.
The only exception to registering players outside of a transfer window is an emergency keeper loan in the case that all available first team keepers are injured / suspended etc. |  | | |

1 x CF (Al Hamadi kept on till January as 3rd choice).
1 x Outside forward (ideally with pace and trickery to vill the Hutchinson void).
1 x Versatile player who can play several positions (possibily right sided given Ogbene's fitness)
We'll add probably a couple more 8 figure signings and be right at the front of the line for the best talent loaned out from the Premiership. We'll be strong, but a lot of recruitment needs to be done first.
We'd be really stupid to sell Johnson given his versitility up the right hand side and also Broadhead for his undoubted numbers and quality at Championship level. I really hope neither go. [Post edited 24 Jul 10:06]

Thought the same with Button. Do players need to be registered for the Carabao Cup, or just league? If not it’s fairly easy to envisage a scenario where he’s not registered but then named on the bench in the cup |  |
