I’ll start.

Omari will be “in and around” the games next week.

Poll: So, how many league wins did you see in person?

Yes, I understand it - but it’s just such a unique term to football. In a literal way, it makes no sense at all!

Drives me nuts - pundits will say there was "No one in or around" an unmarked player. If they were in him it would probably be a foul!

Thorpedo

"Week in, week out" - one of the most hackneyed and overused phrases in football punditry. Perhaps several times in the same utterance.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Chris Sutton's over use of the nonsensical "At this moment in time".

Alan Brazil's over use of the unneccesary "for me".

Every pundit on Earth saying "At the end of the day".

Anything squawked by the truly abysmal Fara Williams.

Don't forget "back in the day."

What a day that must have been - nearly everything seems to have happened on that day.
The next morning's newspapers must have been several inches thick!

It would certainly bring a new meaning to the term penetrating the defence!

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Still can't get my head around that one. Surely it's easier to just say, "every week."

Means bringing him back gently into the squad and games as he played longer than the rest of the team being in the U21 tournament.

Too much to soon and an injury may occur.

I'm always dismayed by a ball being played 'into an area'. I'm not sure what the alternative might be. Some sort of space/ time vortex?

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Poll: Which recent triallist should we have signed?

It will be a tad frustrating if we are teased with the idea he might stay only for him to be gone in late August. Clarke played for Sunderland last year as did O’Shea for Burnley. I see the chance of him staying about 10% up from 5% maybe, I’d rather it just happens as pretty sure he will go.

One for any new signing that starts poorly but we're willing to give them time:

"There's a player in there"

Can't stand that phrase. Of course there's a player in there, it's whether they're a good one or not!

Best one has the be the commentators excellent description of how the ball was going in until it was saved. Well it wasn't fken going in then was it.
