What was last seasons deal for him? I have in mind that the loan was about £5m and the perm signing was £10m. If I'm anywhere near right his value has dropped massively in a year. Perhaps that was part of MA's cunning plan! | |

I think it was the same loan fee but the obligation if we stayed up was 10m EUR.
TBH its cheap, if we can get a good amount of games out of him an £850k loan fee isn't a lot, and if we go up then £5.5m for a soon to be 26 year old International out of Napoli is peanuts. Its a great deal, the job now is to get 90 minutes out of him 35+ times this season. | | | |
