Remember him storming out of MK Dons away after the match with his (very lovely) lady friend.

Was in fulsome agreement that he should have started for us and was mightily annoyed he didn't even get on, if memory serves.

He had a very decent half a season with us and was very much a fan. I am glad for him that he had that to enjoy and wish him all the best. A shame he wasn't better as I am sure he would have always given everything for us.

I just love the way he’s telling the churchmans to be quiet with his hand as he creeps up behind.. the other angle I’ve seen I’m still amazed the keeper wasn’t warned by his teammates.

Yep. We should have been 4 up at half time. Edwards spent 45 minutes running rings around their whole team (often all at once). Bonne missed that chance and we ended up losing 2-1.

Nice bowling green behind the away end though.

Seems some of the Southend fans were disappointed he left though, so wonder if he was hoping for a move to a higher level. Not prolific for the Shrimpers but believe they liked his work for the team.


He only wants to live in Ipswich so it makes it quite difficult to play for a lot of clubs - I saw him on Sunday coming out of the Aldi on Felxistowe Road, and last week at the new Lidl at Waitrose so he clearly loves a discount German supermarket as much as I do.

He has helped out at my youngest's training a couple of times over at Gainsborough too and is such an Ipswich boy - a real shame how things went after Xmas here as he was electric in that first half of the season

I think I've lost all track of time in the past 3 years or maybe it's true time speeds up as you get older. But watching the EFL highlights at the weekend I heard the name Bradley Dack. I was shocked he's now dropped to League 2 level at Gillingham. I used to think he was someone we could try to get off Blackburn but that was somewhere in the dark days of the Marcus Evans era. I thought he was destined for bigger things.

That little run he had of scoring was brilliant and the fact he was a supporter and local lad made it extra special.

And I will never forget the goal he created against Wednesday through lurking behind the keeper. Sshhhhhhhh!!!!

He was great for that spell. And he's scored in front of the NS. Not many can say that.
