Just a little reminder for Omari and his agent… 07:05 - Aug 13 with 4859 viewsKieran_Knows

I’m glad the local press is doing its bit to amplify this message further beyond the training ground walls. It’s very poor form but not much else to say until it’s resolved one way or another.

There are rumours that his family is pressuring him to move to the Prem as he financially supports them.

Read into that how you will, but it’s what I heard from someone who works pretty close to the club.

Does Hutchinson think that any potential buyers are going to be impressed by his attitude? Likely to put them right off I would have thought.

I doubt it unfortunately. Good footballers hold most of the cards. If any club thinks Hutch will improve them all they’ll be worrying about is getting him through the door.

It would be nice if it was the case though. It’s a shame he’s chosen to sully his reputation with his fans here. The only positive is that KM is being honest with us (or at leadt seems to be, but we’ll obviously never know all the details).

That’s what I’ve been told too, family pressure is at the root of it.

Some rumours his family who depend on him are also pushing the move. Tbh as much as I like the player and he’d be great in this division I’m slightly surprised he’s fetching such a fee given his performances last season. Maybe he’ll do well at a stronger club next season we shall see.
It’s going to be slightly awkward if Forest or Brentford don’t come back in, I’ll say that much.

It is so so disappointing. Shows no respect for the club, no respect for KM and certainly no respect for the fans.

From what I understand, Omari wants to stay at Ipswich, he likes it here, he likes McKenna, but his family is pressuring him.

Edit: Maybe I’ll hold off from revealing such information, clear that some fans can’t deal with the truth.

cant see it personally, if he likes KM likes the club etc, he wouldn't refuse to play football.

You're right. I have no idea. That's why I am asking a question.

Just seems like like lots of players who have had bids are still playing for the team who pay their wages whilst Hutchinson hasn't kicked a ball since Charlton a few weeks back,

Time for the club to get tough with Hutchinson.

Will Omari change his tune and want to play if he is still here after the window closes or be happy sitting on his arse until January

Yep, I really hope he is being heavily fined for this, I can’t see why not.

Statistically those two did outperform Omari in their respective positions last season. I watched one a lot more than the other two, to draw any conclusion with my own eyes, but it's a useful reminder of who else remains in this league. We aren't the only club to possess a potential "cheat code", although we seem to be the only one with a cheat code on strike.

Excellent point Tom.

Will be interesting what happens from here because there's still a good chance that no one is prepared to pay what we're asking.

Dibling is behaving in a similar fashion, I've just heard. Unsure if he's withdrawn his services like Omari, but he definitely isn't applying himself well enough for Will Still to consider him an option currently.

I'm sure I heard one of the Blue Monday guys mention that Omari's dad wasn't happy with the club towards the end of the season. Can't remember which one but it was definitely mentioned in the summer.

It feels like maybe McKenna is fed up with him now too? His head isn't in the right place is ambiguous - that could have been his or the clubs decision. He was ill - that's out of everyone's hands. Now it's just Omari's decision and he can take his lumps.

I think that’s a given, Kmac usually very guarded in public comments about players, this is about as frank a criticism as you will see
