I'd ask Phil but I know he couldn't answer if he really wanted to.

But you've the ears at the club

What exactly is the atmosphere.

I don't want a thread to look all doom and gloomy so don't want to presume it's horrible but with all the ins outs of staff. Players etc. What it is like.

Part of me feels like this is just a normal situation for relegated club the other part of me wonders if we've really fked the moral building over the past few years and were back to the beginning of KMs project rather than partway through it.

a niche perspective

It’s horrendous, no one likes anyone else & they just go in and have a massive scrap every day.

I’ve heard Chappers has been curling out ‘presents’ into Dara’s boots. It’s all kicking off.

And all have agents in their ears telling them they should be at that level, making excuses for them and pinning the blame elsewhere for it not working out for them last season.

I know Dara's agent was doing his best to convince him he shouldn't be staying here.

Agents can be a cancer on the game. A lot seem to be most interested in a pay day for themselves, so they can live the same blinged up lifestyle as the players. When I’m king, I’ll pass a law so that the game has a pool of agents paid normal salaries out of a central league pot. They’ll be duty bound to represent players, so the players are protected, but it’ll remove the hold and financial drain they put on clubs and the fans. I might execute a few too just to set an example, but haven’t decided on that yet. Maybe just lock them in the Tower of London.

I’ve heard the players are going to set the training ground on fire and are having Blue Action make some “I don’t want to go to work today” banners for the squad.

Worrying times

Woolfy was round mine this morning picking up a few pyros.

He said he had Omari tied up in the boot of his car, but I think he was joking.

& there’s ya sensible answer….

We dont have the team that Leeds did, they didnt get rid of hardly any one. We have lost over half of our starting 11 and replaced with potentials but not up to speed replacements, also lost more than what was expected judging by Kmac comments. I honestly think it will take half a season to get the starting 11 we need and gelled together before we start seeing any results. Play offs will be an achievement if the squad doesnt improve.

They're uber confident pros who have battled massively against the odds to get where they have got to - although would feel like they are capable of doing a job at a Wolves, or a Brentford, or a promoted team in their squads

There are an awful lot that didn’t perform at that level to. Naming no names they should be knuckling down and trying to remember how to
play the game again after some performances last season.
Plenty of them must realise they are nowhere near PL standards. Omari included in that lm afraid.

With the quality in the squad plus the quality coming in, even if we're a bit clunky still and the mood's a little low, we have/will have individuals who will do stuff, win games and the mood picks up and KMc works his magic again and bingo, we're up and running with happy McKipswich 2.0, better than ever.

The thing is, that is actually quite believable! If you said Harry Clarke was with him even more so.

So you heard about pizzagate too

Good job it wasn't a water fight. We don't need a Watergate scandal at the club.
