I don’t remember his previous comments about Broady.
Currently he’s making several strategic management decisions in terms of the squad. He’s having to do what he considers for the good of the team and of club as a whole going forward. That will inevitably mean he makes some uncomfortable and unpopular decisions because it involves players we as fans have connected with. Plus he’s lost a few players that he knew would leave (Delap and Hutch and the loanees) and others hoped would stay - Axel, Burg, Broady.
It’s a tough gig for him at the moment, not helped by a couple of sub par performances. But what is for sure, he knows (or thinks he knows) what is best for the team and is paid handsomely for having the ability to get most of those decisions right.
If he fails we can start to not like him, but right now I think it’s a time for us to stick with him as he figures out the way forward. Might not always be popular - hence your slight misgivings, but let’s give him a few months to see how he goes. |  |

I'm not convinced now that all is right in the club.... is there an " in" camp and an " out" camp emerging?
I'd say we are disjointed, not fit to go and the season is already underway. Players
( you'd hope!) still to come in. How long before they're ready to play, christmas? .
This window has been very underwhelming, and I'd say we are currently a lot weaker, than we were in May. Ashton words of " expecting to lose one or two" is sounding all very hollow now. We're in practically another rebuild! But never mind about the football side, there's been " profit" on our best players departure, so all rosey for some. |  |

Arnie, what do you mean by an ‘in’ and ‘out’ camp? If your referring to fans being KM in or out then I don’t think there’s any evidence of that yet - it’s way, way, way too early for such talk. Things aren’t quite as anyone wants, management, players of fans. But some things are out of KM’s hands and in other things he’s making some hard decisions in order to get thing right.
We’ll all have our opinions on those decisions, but only the ignorant or arrogant will say he’s definately wrong or definately right in what he’s doing! Stick in there with us buddy - let’s run towards this little bit of adversity together! | |

Which players are in the out camp and what evidence have you that this exists?
Which of the players who have left has been a surprise to you? I think everyone knew Delap was leaving and was fairly sure Hutchinson was too (although Brentford's dithering gave us some small hope).
There have been several transfers each summer since McKenna got here and generally they have improved us (although last summer's was more difficult to judge). It is far from a total rebuild. As for a disappointing window, aside from hoping to get Hackney in, what more did you expect? | |

I missed the original post but i think the squad as it stands on August 31st need to revisit the Running Towards Adversity mentality.
We had 2 amazing years and weren’t ready to go up back-to-back, but nostalgia is heartening and dangerous in equal measure. Need to welcome the new boys in and restore the fortress. |  |
