Why we aren’t in for this guy baffles me. He is just what we need for a striker to help Hirst out. Makes no sense. Then none of this transfer season has made much sense. I suppose a transfer bidding strategy is to make it known to a players agent that you admire a player but let another establish the acceptable fee without creating the bidding war then allow the player to choose which club they want to join. Thats opposed to being at the front of the queue where bigger fish might only move later or where it’s known the player only wants to join your club. | |
