Matusiwa and Cajuste had moments today when they looked like a rolls royce in a banger race!
However, I dont think Nunez has come to spend most games on bench and he looks like the sort of player that will help unlock teams that sit back.
Can we get three into two? Will there be system change? Will someone, inevitably, get frustrated by lack of minutes? |  |

It's only an issue if they've all been told they're starting every week. I doubt very much that's the case so it shouldn't really be a problem. McKenna isn't the sort of coach to freeze players out so they'll all get plenty of football. |  |

I couldn't agree more and have been thinking the same. I think that Nunez plays very similar to the role Morsy played possibly better at attacking than Morsy but maybe weaker at defending. It's going to be interesting to see what happens. | | | |

I think considering both Cajuste and Nunez are prone to injuries, it makes logical sense for plenty of rotation and managing both players potential injuries. The champ is a squad game none the less, so I can't see it being an issue. |  | | |

To be fair, he showed some nice touches and a couple of lovely breaks which could have resulted in goals if we were sharper up front. But he did give the ball away too often and I'm not too enamoured with the spinny thing. Looks great if it comes off... but it didn't and it offers the opposition to win the ball back and break. I thought he did fine and I'm hoping he quickly forgets all the cooing and purring and ball fondling from his admirers and focus on the nuts and bolts of the midfield role and do the showy things more sparingly. Listening to TalkTown and the commentary - they are going too far over the top with him. Its annoying and i don't want to hear how he's too good for this division when he can't be on a winning side. We need results and we're not the Ipswich Globetrotters.He's doing classy things everynow and then, but not bossing the game. Matusiwa is, for me, our most important midfielder, so I'd expect Nunez and Cajuste to share the second midfield role. | | | |

I’d agree with all of that. The only thing I’d add is that he’s clearly not match sharp yet. I thought he improved as the first half went on and faded badly in the second half. That’s an observation not a criticism because he’s barely played any competitive football.

Agreed. If he is 'too good for the division' he needs to show it in his numbers and really affect games. Still very early days of course but he needs to deliver some goals/assists and be part of a solid midfield that contributes to clean sheets. |  | | |

I don’t think ‘fitting them in’ is as much of an issue as being at least one, possibly two CFMs short.
Jens has glass knees…, he’s never played 40 games in a season, so he’ll maybe start 30 if he stays fit (at best)
We are way short in that area, and left back, and striker.
Chaplin, Ogbenne, Sammie, Johnson, Clarke, Philogene, Mcateer, Norwegian chap, Akpom, Burns, Taylor can do the 10, as could Jens.
HALF our squad is for THREE positions. Try keeping them happy.
