Suspect he isn't one of the top earners, probably realises he isn't going to be a regular starter and is happy making cameos (and he's good at them) and probably hasn't kicked up a stink.
Good impact on Saturday and won the pen. Tries hard, runs with the ball, tackles, can shoot when he gets in the right position. I like him. |  |

Over the summer I fully expected him to move on but I think he's lifted his game quite a bit and has fought for a squad slot in the friendlies and games so far. Whether he comes to regret that and would have done better with a move remains to be seen! | |

Would have been madness to let him go, only 3 ahead of him with 2 starting positions. In a position where injuries are common and we have 2 players that are 'injury prone' in Cajuste and Nunez. No chance we would have let him go without bringing someone else in.
He will get plenty of minutes both off the bench and some starts. |  |

What knee issue? Everyone talks about how we have to manage his knees but no one can offer any concrete evidence he has knee issues.

I'm amazed at the memory of some people who resurrect old threads like this.
Taylor had a great game today but I want to see him do this over the course of a dozen games before I'm completely sold on him being a mainstay of our midfield. |  |
