Must be a slow news day. He grew up in Norfolk, his dad played for Norwich, he came through at Norwich and made his Premier League debut there. He was also part of their greatest ever achievement (a 2nd round game, lol).

Don't think he's ever made any secret of the fact he's Norwich and you wouldn't really expect any different.

Presumably on the next page there's one about the Titanic sinking?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

When it suits him.

Then suddenly when Forest do well, he proclaims he’s a life-long Forest fan.

He got married in Clitheroe if that gives some variety, or pun-potential.

In other Norfolk news....

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/sep/04/new-deputy-green-leader-mothin-

Ali, who was born in Sheffield and has lived in Yorkshire all his life, was on the beach at Cromer, Norfolk, with his mother, wife and children when a group appeared.
“It was a lovely sunny day. I’d been building sandcastles and catching shrimps in rock pools with my six-year-old. Suddenly there were these people throwing beer bottles at us, and shouting: ‘Get out of our country’ and ‘Paki bastards’. Then one of them decided to pull his trousers down.”

"They break our legs and tell us to be grateful when they offer us crutches."

It does seem very odd that the Ipswich Star would run such a pointless article even if it is one of nodge-based Archant's papers.

I trust they used a picture of Butch wiping him out for it so that readers will know who Sutton is.

This is still one of the best things ive seen on sports tv... Butcher did what every Town has always to do to sutton, wipe him out, and it still makes me laugh out loud.
