Sammy was partially involved but it was instigated by Lewis Travis. Lewis is was worried that Blackburn might finish above Derby and arranged for a mate of his speed up the Darwin towing a large inflatable banana with a few fringe Derby players on it to create a huge wave during half time.

My biggest issue with them is all the ‘it drains into the river and there’s nothing anyone can do about it’ bullshìt, and having the audacity to call other people clueless or thick. They’ve clearly believed whatever line the club has sold them but chuck a massive attenuation tank under one of the car parks during the closed season and they’d never find themselves in this position again. The fault lies squarely with their owners [Post edited 23 Sep 8:30]

Well I’ve heard that The Illuminati, Bill Gates, George Soros and a few other likeminded souls simply wanted a day off from influencing the world anonymously. So they decided to all have a weekend away, but somewhere completely backward and populated by simpletons.
Now the Premier Inn was booked in Norwich and George wasn’t keen on staying at a British hotel. What with him being too foreign looking he was worried that some Neanderthals would continuously shout loudly at where they were staying. He wanted some good nights sleep. So they stayed at a nice looking house on the outskirts of Blackburn.
But you know, billionaires are going to billionaire and Bill Gates decided to switch on a really strong 5G signal - it was constructed using alien tech. Unfortunately it was too strong and influenced the weather to really pour down. Soros and The Illuminati then got involved (just for the banter) and got the game abandoned.

This situation has happened multiple times before, and each time the outcome has been a full replay. It’s astonishing that isn’t written into the laws of the game.
