Rovers fan "theory" on the abandonment 23:51 - Sep 22 with 2758 views | SouperJim | Seen quite a bit on social media from fans losing their minds and all common sense on this, but had to share this cracker as it's on another level entirely:- "it was Szmodics apparently who told Ipswich about how to get the game called off, he had knowledge of the issues with River Darwen and this is what Ipswich used when protesting with the officials to get the game abandoned. As an ex player he new what was happening and Ipswich acted on this. Only Ipswich players were throwing them selves all over, didn’t see any Rovers players acting like this."

Rovers fan "theory" on the abandonment on 01:06 - Sep 23 with 2524 views | Guthrum | If they didn't see any Rovers players falling over, they weren't watching. Were going down like ninepins all game. Besides which, falling over wasn't the issue, but the fact the ball wouldn't roll through the standing water. Quite cunning of Mark Ashton to drop a giant draught excluder across the River Darwen to dam it up, tho.

There’s no blinder people than some football fans when things aren’t going their team’s way. [Post edited 23 Sep 4:29]

Rovers fan "theory" on the abandonment on 07:03 - Sep 23 with 1708 views | Wakh | Sammy was partially involved but it was instigated by Lewis Travis. Lewis is was worried that Blackburn might finish above Derby and arranged for a mate of his speed up the Darwin towing a large inflatable banana with a few fringe Derby players on it to create a huge wave during half time. Just as it passed close by, Sammy had arranged for his mum (who also knows all about the Darwin because he had been telling her about it and how important it is) to move a couple of sand bags to allow a surge of water to flood in.

Rovers fan "theory" on the abandonment on 08:12 - Sep 23 with 1284 views | wrightsrightglove | My biggest issue with them is all the ‘it drains into the river and there’s nothing anyone can do about it’ bullshìt, and having the audacity to call other people clueless or thick. They’ve clearly believed whatever line the club has sold them but chuck a massive attenuation tank under one of the car parks during the closed season and they’d never find themselves in this position again. The fault lies squarely with their owners [Post edited 23 Sep 8:30]

Easier than that - Mark Ashton has a direct line to God and simply asked for more rain. He asked for more oxygen too but God said "Don't push it".

Well I’ve heard that The Illuminati, Bill Gates, George Soros and a few other likeminded souls simply wanted a day off from influencing the world anonymously. So they decided to all have a weekend away, but somewhere completely backward and populated by simpletons. Now the Premier Inn was booked in Norwich and George wasn’t keen on staying at a British hotel. What with him being too foreign looking he was worried that some Neanderthals would continuously shout loudly at where they were staying. He wanted some good nights sleep. So they stayed at a nice looking house on the outskirts of Blackburn. But you know, billionaires are going to billionaire and Bill Gates decided to switch on a really strong 5G signal - it was constructed using alien tech. Unfortunately it was too strong and influenced the weather to really pour down. Soros and The Illuminati then got involved (just for the banter) and got the game abandoned. True story.

Rovers fan "theory" on the abandonment on 09:32 - Sep 23 with 775 views | ThatMuhrenCross | Blackburn fans are, on the whole, losing the plot here. Every scenario they’re proposing to benefit them is based entirely on ifs, buts and maybes. This situation has happened multiple times before, and each time the outcome has been a full replay. It’s astonishing that isn’t written into the laws of the game. Anything other than a complete replay will start setting a dangerous precedent for the game.

Yes, but as I keep asking them, will the replay be conducted under 3 foot of water and will our players be allowed to wear their fishing waders this time?

Never mind building an attenuation tank under one of the car parks - why don’t they build a swimming pool for the flood water to drain into? Their players could use it for diving practice.

Rovers fan "theory" on the abandonment on 10:04 - Sep 23 with 521 views | Bluespeed225 | It's a little know fact that instead of doing coaching badges Szmodics had been doing day release form the Club with The Enviroment Agency, specializing in rivers because of global warming and the flooding issues seen in recent years.
