If that was true I would consider not supporting ITFC anymore if its become indoctrinated by the woke left, but I doubt it is true, I thought he wanted a 2 year deal and we only offered one. |
I suspect (guess) that if there's any truth to a political/ideological issue between Morsy and the ITFC owners, it's a Palestine-Israel thing rather than some ill defined yet infuriatingy polarising and diverting (and therefore successful) "woke left" thing. |  |

I was responding to the assertion "stance on rainbow laces is problematic", so I was giving my opinion if it were to do with that irrespective of Palestine.

"Woke left" triggers me, because there's nothing left wing about the vast majority of what people seem to call leftist or woke or whatever it is these days. To me it's a blatant and enervating narrative to conflate things that concern us masses and divert attention from the Man and his corporate coercion whilst dividing us so we can be controlled. yeah i'm sorry about that, my intention is not to trigger people, it's just i am left-leaning, and the behaviour, rather than the actual political views, of a significant section of society, is something i want nothing to do with, so i need a different label, and i tried radical leftists and people said trump uses that, so i switched back to woke left.

Although our general outlooks differ, I'd broadly agree with you regarding your sentiments about the club potentially seeking to police what players say/believe.
Some of the reactions to players speaking out on Gaza have been very worrying, and I'd be equally concerned if a club was pushing players out for voicing beliefs, whether I agree with them or not. | |
