Would use a VPN and give the club £10. Not looking for a dodgy link :)

Whilst I do understand this sentiment, I feel the club gets enough money out of fans these days. The majority of people who I know have fire sticks are more peeved with the prices that Sky charge rather than just buying it for a particular club (though I am sure there are people that just do that). Being able to watch your team is a by product of sticking it to sky.

If you're upset at the price of a service then you don't use the service. It's not an excuse for piracy. The level of individual entitlement that implies you can do that is quite something. The bottom line is if everyone took his advice the club get nothing. SB [Post edited 27 Sep 14:21]

Agreed each to their own. I personally don't have sky or a TV license so rarely watch TV but I do go over to my mates house and often watch town games. To be honest it's great, as somebody who lives a long way from Suffolk there is noway I can make games. For 50 notes a year it's a fantastic service, legality aside I am assuming you've never broken the law in any way? Speeding? Underage drinking? Or have you led a very puritan lifestyle?

"I am assuming you've never broken the law in any way? Speeding? Underage drinking? Or have you led a very puritan lifestyle?" This is a borderline strawman, you're constructing a different argument to try and support the illegality of the one we are discussing. My main point wasn't even that it was illegal, it was that the club get nothing if this is routinely done. I can't make the games either, I pay for the Town TV subscription as a way to support the club and watch the matches. As you rightly point out, each to their own. I just don't think that should extend to advertising that others do the same. Anyway, looking forward to seeing the Norwegian. COYB. SB

Agree with the last point as super excited to see our new Nordic superstar on the pitch Think we are in agreement each to their own. I do accept your point that the club gets nowt in this situation though. If you have TownTV are you actually allowed to go to another country via VPN and use the service? I thought your subscription was tied to a particular region?

Yes, nothing illegal about it. Might break some terms of service but let's be honest, Ipswich aren't going to care.
