I want some passion, some heart on sleeve stuff, some commitment, some knowing what it means to wear the shirt, some fight, some bottle, and some decent fist pumps, get him back in

Hang on a minute, he's been one of the main targets of the boo boys in the past.

Is he another player that gets better the longer he doesn't play ?

(I like Harry Clarke, but im not sure hes the answer)

He was good enough for us in the Championship 2 years ago. I was thinking last night we should give him another go at RB. At least he knows what is required of him.

He's competing with 18 other RBs.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Are you really suggesting that Furlong deserves to be dropped?
Our most consistent defender so far this year?

100%. Not even necessarily for the passion argument, although it might help. But genuinely for a bit of forward thrust and energy.

I don't think Young offers much. I don't mind Furlong but he's not an attacking full back when we sometimes need him to be (think we knew that when buying), and Johnson has never nailed down a position and now seems more likely to play left back or RM.

I wouldn't do it yet, we need to have something approaching a settle team for a couple of weeks. But I'd love Clarke to come back in time.

He was dropped last night

The only Muff in Town.

I'm not sure he's the answer but agree there is a real lack of passion other than Nunez. I was disappointed with the response from most players after winning the scum game they should have been milking that one.

Seems to me mostly when we've won it's been due to someone else doing a motivational speech which suggests the players are not up for it.

Poll: How many team changes tonight?

McKenna dropped him, he also dropped kipre after One error and an iffy game when everyone had rank bad games, he also dropped our best player who has been on fire at home. So it's not daft to suggest anything where dropping people are concerned, KM is the master of it.

Harry Clarke's defending is the equivalent of that dog from the movie "Up!" who sees a squirrel.

Not the answer

Nobody who didn't play in the promotion teams is any good. Except Philogene as long as he keeps belting in 30-yarders and scoring hat-tricks. Prior to that he was an awful waste of money. See also Jack Clarke.

You must remember the 23-24 defence that was like Baresi and Maldini reborn, hardly conceding any goals.
Ok they conceded plenty, but it was the beautiful way they conceded them, not like these cloggers we have now.
And nobody ever slagged off Clarke or Burgess.
Ok they did, but let's just pretend they didn't.

He’s not a good player though is he.

And he hasn’t hit better because we’re struggling either.., what don’t you look at the real issue, Mark Ashton and the £200 million elite squad he’s assembled??

If we do need Harry, I’d suggest the issues are about ten times worse than we think - why not address the actual elephant in the room?

The number of posters who can’t understand when players are dropped and when they are being rested goes a long way to explain the number of more moronic posts this week.

Yeah, quite a few of those moronic posts come from you. Was Greaves rested, was Hirst rested ? no, they were dropped, dress it up how you like, either way it went well didn't it.
