Came on at half time. Hardly did anything. The end.

(Sorry, I have no sympathy for him due to the way he behaved before he left)

I'm getting Town 2001/02 vibes with Forest.

Not sure there is any continual need for these threads.

People have made their views clear, revelling in the subsequent position of a young player isn't a great look in my view.

Been left on the bench for a lot of games, starting to show now ..two crosses he made were fluffed . One cross practically by passed all the goalmouth and went out at the far side of pitch..another cross from just outside the box..went nearly straight across from him on a straight line..he was Trying too much..ring rusty to be sure..dyche should have him in starting 11..

Interesting.

I mean....no young person has ever made the wrong decision or acted inappropriately ever.

Just seems rather vindictive to frequently have threads that make digs at a young player who was clearly poorly advised and is now paying the penalty for that poor advice.

I'll leave you all to it.

Dead right. At this point in time these posts are a bit well, pointless.
Likewise posts about Sunderland's points tally, Burgess, Wolfenden and Broadhead et al.

However, If I was Omari, I'd be pretty angry with the advice he clearly received from Nojan Bedroud particularly around how to force a move. Sadly, It's backfired on him spectacularly, he could have stayed, done his thing in the Championship and then got his move in January.

Had he done so, there's absolutely no doubt in my mind he would be going to a higher profile club than Forest, and likely going with the support here still in love with him.

Nice to see him come on.

I joke about his sore throat but end of day we wouldn't have got promoted without his goals.

Hopefully he did enough of what the manager wanted to be in with a shout next game.

I have every sympathy for him. He contributed greatly to our Championship promotion and signed for us in the hope of us staying in the Premier League. He could have handled the way he left better, but we don't know how he was advised. Either way, he was a young guy looking to further his career.

That it hasn't worked out for him so far is a great shame. But he hopefully has a long career ahead and he can achieve his dreams.

Plus, I would imagine we have clauses in his transfer that are linked to him being a successful football player.

He was never going to stay but oh how I wish he was still on our right. With Philogene on the left it would be mouthwatering. Not writing off the 30 million (£30,000,000!!!) we’ve spent on our right hand side since he left but in comparison to him it’s shown nothing.

He may succeed there. But if he doesn't i really hope for him he can get away from the agent and look into his own future himself.

I really don’t get this bollx with omari. He was a massive part of our success and was one of our better performers in the prem playing his part in at least giving us some degree of dignity. On his day he was worth the entrance fee alone. He absolutely has what it takes to play at the highest level. He left. Just as the vast majority of us would have when faced with that decision. We’ve moved on. Wish him well and get over it.

Philogene can’t lace his boots.

Is that because Omari is now 140 miles away from Jaden and he can't tie his own shoe laces.
Maybe get Omari a pair of slip ons?

About the right side..

He doesn't have the footwork of omari. But egeli is showing the development potential omari showed in his first few appearences for us..

Completely different types of players of course. But there potential with egeli is massive.

I have plenty of sympathy for him.

He has professional advisors, who no doubt get paid very well, and he relies on them to guide him. They seem to have given him terrible advice, and potentially put his career back.

I hope he gets back on track, and hopefully gets some better advisors for the future.

The lack of empathy on this forum often makes me very sad.

Couldn't agree more. Just a pity he stuck 2 fingers up to the club and acted like a little kid.

What’s age got to do with relying on professional advisors?

We all rely on professional advisors - investments, pensions, tax, house surveys, etc. We expect professionals to provide good advice, and then more than often follow it (because they’re the experts, not us). If you get bad advice from a professional, and it goes wrong, who’s at fault?

I’m yet to sit it but I really hope you’re right. He’s a big lad physically but I don’t think he’s shown anywhere near the level of ‘natural footballer’ Omari did. As you say they’re different players but I’m a little bit concerned at the close to £40m we’ve spent on him, McAteer & Ogbene. Really hope this ages terribly but it’s a bit of a concern.
