Warning to anyone thinking of voting Reform - you're looking at the UK version of ICE right there......[edit: even if it was AI generated!] [edit edit - must be AI, the Spanish police would be tear gassing them by now I would have thought?] [edit edit edit - apparently it's a part of a big annual fancy dress celebration, started by a sports bar owner in the 1990s apparently]

Whatever it is, it is certainly very odd even if your third edit is it. Poor of the Metro to go all clickbaity and publish it without finding out the real context and attaching it.

…..hell on earth. It’s why I tend to go to places where the majority of the visitors are not from the UK unfortunately.
Day trip over to Hemsby, innit. Sandwich bag full of pennies for the arcade. Soggy saveloy and chips on the prom. Locals speak something that sounds like English.

The whole identity of these people is fascinating and embarrassing in one. Expats not immigrants, conclaves of “English” places and only their language spoken, outrage when rules change that don’t benefit them etc
They embody so many of the things they accuse diasporas in this country of with no sense of irony. Seeing that is pretty toe curling isn’t it?

At least they take money with them and spend it,the lot you want dear old Blighty packed with just rock up expecting the moon on a stick 🤓.
That’s not correct mate. There’s a good chance that the shop you use, the taxi ride you take, the doctor you see, will be an immigrant or at least 2nd or third generation immigrants. All putting money into the economy.

FFS. British colonialism supporters, living in Spain. The absolute state of it.
I think that’s perfectly fine.
People in the U.K. celebrate their culture and heritage all the time.
Nothing wrong with things like St Patrick’s day, Diwali, Scottish pipe band, Carnival style celebrations all around the world…..okay maybe I went over the top with the bagpipes, but the principle remains.

I'm not sure we can put orange marches in the same category as those though. Maybe I'm wrong but I always see orange marches as purely sectarian provocation.
