Coventry (H) - Stoke (H) - Leicester (A) 20:23 - Nov 16 with 2135 viewsSitfcB

That’s some week.

Potentially season defining.

Anyway, roll on Saturday, Wrexham (H) and then a big week on the road…

....what do you reckon from the next 3?

I'm thinking 7, push us into the play offs.

Game on.

7 would be good, a win against each of Wrexham and Oxford and take the point from Hull, they seem to be alright this season so far.

Anything less than 7 in these weeks is not good enough, the closer we are to autos in January the better

Seven points at least. Win against Wrexham and Oxford (as long as we can see the pitch) and a minimum of a point at Hull, though no reason we can't get three. I'd also like to absolutely batter Wrexham to put them firmly in their place and give them a wake up call.
Missed football this weekend so roll on Saturday

Strangely, Hull away looks the toughest of the next 3.. But they are so open, it might suit us..
Narrow wins in all three... 9pts.

Hull looked really good against Pompey albeit Chappers’ new (old) team are rubbish. Should be a cracker. Possible repeat of the 3-3.

They are but they give up a lot of chances, as do Wrexham. That being said Charlie Hughes who I think we sniffed around for a bit is a super player.

9 Points.

Yup, we was after Hughes when he was at Wigan.

Looks destined for the prem.

If we go up, we love to sign young English Championship players so Ashton will be on the blower.

If we take the chances that these Three teams will send our way we win all Three, we just need our shooting boots on. By these Three I mean Wrexham, Oxford & Hull

I think some of that is probably natural variation which over the course of the season 'should' balance out a bit.

I'm more encouraged by the fact we're only one behind Cov for 'big chances created' - having played a game less.

Creating chances and dominating games is not our weakness right now - it's taking more of the chances that needs to improve.

I think that's where some of the natural variation comes in. If Nunez/Azon had the same chances again that they had against Watford then without doing too much different they both probably score. Szmodics and Akpom very similar with some of the chances they've had. The difference between scoring and missing/keeper saving/defender blocking is often really small.

Cov are currently more clinical than any team has been in the last 5 seasons, by quite some way - which suggests some of the natural variation for them will balance out as well.
