Where are all… 21:40 - Nov 25 with 2576 viewschicoazul

…the cry baby weirdos of the last couple of days? You must all be so disappointed.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?

Not a cry baby weirdo, but I don't see what is wrong with constructive criticism and asking questions after a poor performance like Saturday.

Automatic promotion is absolutely there for the taking. I know there was a big turnover of players in the summer, but anything other than promotion is failure IMO.

It’s a simple question. Where are they? There were loads of them and now they’re all gone. I want to taste their delicious tears.

Ha - incredible post from someone that moaned we weren’t good enough in our league one promotion campaign (even famously saying we weren’t even good enough to make a playoff spot.

Edit - re not beating top 6 teams also repeatedly referred to us as flat track bullies.

Top satire.

I was right, we didn’t make the play offs.

There is a huge difference between constructive criticism and cry baby weirdos, quite obviously. Constructive criticism is the good and the bad, context but also reality, and that's definitely fine and no one is really saying it isn't.

Cry baby weirdos are those going out of their way as 'supporters' of this club, to find negatives in the stats before we kick a ball, preempt players being rubbish by moaning about their play before a ball is kicked and extrapolate some of the issues into catastrophes about our entire club, players and management structure. All without any of the before mentioned context.

It's night and day and obviously one will be fine, albeit with disagreements, and one will be jumped on as pathetic and just weird.

I felt the large majority of posts were sensible discussions tbh. Absolutely lots of loans but they were as far as im aware based on what was happening. As I said no one as far as I could see was saying we were going to lose etc but more having a moan about how poor we were with the ball.

I genuinely dont get why people expect anything else during the game.
As long as we are all on the same level come ft then its all good imo.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with constructive criticism. Or debate, disagreeing or even god forbid sometimes changing your mind. But the torrents of criticism that flooded this forum after Saturday’s ‘defeat’ was mostly not constructive. Nor were questions really being asked. It was more we spent x on y and he’s garbage kind of posting. Also after a win, you don’t tend to see the bedsheet boys on here offering their expert knowledge.

Saturday’s performance was not poor btw. We for large parts played ok, most of the game playing attack to their defence - which Wrexham did very well, Whatever the failings (9, 10 position didn't look right on Sat) McKenna’s teams try to play football, what I consider properly, just as GBs team did and I’m more than ok with that.

It’s not easy to get round and through a team that is camped in and on the edge of their penalty area. It’s something we are clearly struggling with that at the moment, but we did enough to win that game as the stats show and something they’ll hopefully solve.

That's a straw man again I'm afraid. No-one has a problem with constructive criticism and asking questions.

disagree, supporters should get behind the team.

supporting the team is much more productive than whingeing at them.

so many players are better with confidence, so what gives them confidence? whining if they misplace a pass or encouraging them when they are doing (or even trying to do) the right thing?

People whinging online doesn’t really bother me.
However now we are in the top six supporters at the games seriously need to start getting behind the team.

You are correct if we are talking about daily posting and being a pleb with it

But we re talking about in game moans about speed of play last night and level of passing accuracy. If thats seen as going to far then you may aswell shut the forum during the game.

But yes I agree that individual posts on a chosen individual endlessly and needlessly is ott.
