I've read a few comments above saying they prefer the choc out of the fridge. I used to be that way but then read that the cold means you can't taste the flavour as well (bit like beer that's too cold). So you might enjoy the firmness more (ooerr), and I get that, but you're missing out on the richness.
Anyway, I would like to offer up Lindt truffles, specifically the dark chocolate ones. Ok, it's cheating because they're not bars, but they're too good to miss out. | | | |

For me it's nothing to do with my sweet tooth and all to do with the 70% cocoa plus stuff releasing dopamine, the brain's way of saying 'you're doing well':
