I don't think anyone thinks it's ideal. So, I'm not sure there's a need to be so negative?

| Liam Rosenior for me on 21:48 - Dec 2 with 804 views | mrfixit426 | I watched closely tonight. It's not McKenna. Unfortunately he has a team of players who are struggling to do the basics. Getting the ball under control, passing to a team mate 10 yards away, and keeping a shot under the crossbar. Individuals are costing us, not the way we set up. There also seems to be a lack of heart. That team two years ago you felt would give absolutely everything, because it was their one big chance to get to the top. These guys, not so much. That's on recruitment. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Football is a results business, like it or not , and in football the buck stops with the manager.

The TownTV audio comms made a point of saying that tonight's Rovers team played together regularly, were used to each other, 3 of them had developed a particular understanding & were playing very neat, incisive triangles, looked well-drilled & up for it. They don't usually criticise Town much, but they did tonight; you could tell they were extremely unhappy at the way Town are being set up, including that rather 'reverse image' contrast with the home team.

And there is the attitude of a modern football supporter. I demand perfection, and I demand it now.

Our results have been bad for the second half of the Premier League, and inconsistent in the Championship, although by all metrics, we are in the top three statistically. Less of the hyperbole, pls. Player who can't finish, have cost us this season. That's it.

Beg to differ on that. There are quite a few reasons for poor performances and regressing, not progressing, and finishing is one of them, but not the only one, in my opinion. McKenna needs to do better, much better, and Ashton isn't blameless either! And that's not hyperbole, it's my opinion, and like you, I'm entitled to it.
