Edit. I just realised we saw Sam Ryder at King Tut's Wah Wah House two days after Adam Ant. Dragged by the Mrs but he was really good.

Was that place originally known as king tut’s wah wah “HUT” ?
I remember my friends band wanted to play there in the early 90’s simply because of the name even though it was Glasgow (basically another planet in those days).
I think being a George Harrison fan it also tickled my fancy him being partial to a bit of wah wah. |  |

The Last Dinner Party with my daughter last Sunday. I've had an epic year for gigs. The last one I went to that was my choice was Get Down Services at the electric ballroom. They were bloody amazing. |

Lucky No 7 at the Duke of York, excellent local covers band.
Before that, Levellers at Shepherds Bush O2 Empire. They were playing their Zeitgeist album, which is often overlooked compared to the big one, Levelling the Land.
Played pretty much all of Zeitgeist before throwing in a few of the big hits in the second half.
