Yes your interesting post was like a "what a good thread should look like" vs the rest "when threads go wrong and turn into an argument for no reason which is actually just a continuation of the same old argument had a thousand times".
People have different political/cultural/generational views. Most of those are engrained. Some might be persuaded another way with life experiences or genuinely though provoking literature/text. I tell you what won't persuade or influence. The same old argument and point scoring on a football forum.
Good thing is we all support Ipswich so we have that in common. Let's do that.
