If he's got any sense he will wait for the United role, someone needs to go in and do some "demolition" work, they need a proper clear out. If that happens it feels a better option. Obviously McKenna might think he can do that but it is a dangerous place to go.

I suspect he will be gone either way possibly sooner rather than later. It is interesting in that the prospect of the United or Spurs job might keep him here until season’s end which could work in our favour.

There’s going to be a fair few top class Managers looking for new jobs in the summer, when their current contracts end. The likes of Ancelotti, Pochettino and Tuchel (and probably others) are all out of contract after the World Cup and you think the likes of Spurs, let alone Man U, will be after McKenna? I’d be amazed if that happened.
