I think Farage has probably taken the gamble on Zahawi because they badly need media surrogates who won't say anything too insane. He won't let Lee Anderson anywhere that isn't GB News and it's the same with Sarah Pochin since her rant about seeing too many black people on the TV adverts. At the moment it's up to Farage, Tice, Yusuf and Kruger to do all the heavy lifting for them, so I guess this helps them in that respect. |  |

If Reform are to be taken seriously as a potential party of government (whether you like it or not) they need a few more heavyweights as they are something of a 1 man band. Zahawi, as an experienced former Minister, fits that bill and as an ethnic minority, will help present Reform as non-racist. |  |
