I think the U.S should invade it with the cunning use of rubber dinghy's - UK / EU seem unable to defend against that and then when the U.S land and they finished assaulting the locals - a quick application to the ECHR should mean not only can they stay in Greenland indefinitely but they can get teh best 5 star accomodation Greenland has to offer......

In all seriousness Trump is dead right on this one - NATO is a laughing stock - Canada now best mates with China, Britain best mates with China and giving them a prime London site for their new super embassy and the rest of the EU with 10 million illegals walking around who nobody knows who they are - yeah NATO a real bastion of security - I'm afraid we're at a turning point in history and there is only 1 winner and it wont be the UK or the EU - of course all those who are about to slaughter me are obviously going to protest tonight against our U.S owners and seek the immediate re-instatement of ME as club owner

Jolly gosh - there's a lot to unpack in here, you should post your political views more often, it's good stuff.

I reckon it's a trial run before he applies to join the Trump Administration Press team. In with a good shout of employment too.

Thanks for mislabelling this as a football thread - reminds me why I only ever look at the forum with that filter turned on. While being mis-categorised as a football thread is by far the smallest of the issues here, can that be a reason for deleting this utter rubbish?

I'll ignore the first para, because you're clearly one of those 'stop the boats' type people who think the people are the issue, whereas the UK dangles a big benefit carrot, remove that and the boats will stop, we don't need gunboats in the North Sea if that's what you want.

Anyway, NATO is not a laughing stock, I suspect your X.com algorithm has simply migrated to Tump supporter tripe, so that's all you're seeing.

Canada isn't best mates with China, it's simple hedging against a very volatile neighbour that can't be trusted. China, whether we like it or not, is a superpower and having a relationship with them is sensible, we've never kept all our eggs in one basket, though much of the UK is very much woven into the fabric of the USA, they own a lot of us, and I mean a lot.

I don't know what you're actually concerned about to be honest, USA can't 'take' Greenland. There's a possibility he could buy it and that's about it. He could take it by force, but it would be suicide.

Anyone who thinks that the USA are untouchable are a fair way off, whilst their military is pretty epic, it's not like they could invade and take Europe, I mean, they could mess us up, but never occupy and not without taking a bloody nose, and for what?

I've nothing against normal Americans, but Trump supporters are very vocal and mad as a box of frogs. There's this feeling they are entitled to Greenland which comes from their Supreme Leader which isn't really shared by the majority of Americans, probably more than 70% are against it....not what you're seeing on socials right?

Anyway, sleep tight.

Don't quite see why objecting to the foreign policy of the current US government would lead to protesting against Ipswich Town's owners. Our biggest shareholder is a bunch of emergency service personnel from Arizona, not the Trump family.

Perhaps China would be a more reliable military and economic power than the USA, with the way things are going?

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
