| Why have our recent transfer windows become so difficult to endure? 20:50 - Jan 21 with 573 views | trueblue85 | No reasonable supporter expects unlimited spending or the easy acquisition of top players, but it does raise questions about what has changed at PR to make the process feel so painfully drawn out and frustrating. Am I the only one that currently has the same observation? | | | | |
| Why have our recent transfer windows become so difficult to endure? on 20:53 - Jan 21 with 534 views | TresBonne | I tell you what was painful and difficult to endure. That photo of Stephen Ward, Cornell and some other sh*tter who I can't even remember holding their shirts up as one. The bi-yearly 'Quiet Deadline Day Expected' TWTD post. Having to get excited over signing the likes of Keanan Bennetts thinking they might be half decent. Selling players for a fraction of the price they are worth. Replacing Daryl Murphy with Leon Best. Now that, my friend, is difficult to endure. [Post edited 21 Jan 20:54]

Since the takeover every window has been very good from the club really. We're a million miles away from 'nothing expected' on TWTD days of the Evans nadir years. For what it's worth I don't think we will do much this window. We don't need to. A number 10/CM I think. We do not need a striker.

As things stand he's fit for Saturday, so basically, we need a back up in by a week on Saturday. Plenty of time.

Exactly this. I spent my entire 20s and most of my 30s hoping against hope we would make exciting signings and instead most years TWTD said 'no business expected ahead of the end of the window'. Anyone complaining now doesn't know they're born.

What are you expecting. If we sign anyone it’s likely only to be at the end of the window as that’s how clubs operate. So what player has moved somewhere that you feel we should have signed? We re not going to sign anyone unless the right player is available and they are going to improve us.

Forgetting town, it does seem to be a very limited movement window so far 82 signings in total across the league. however that includes end of loans, AI reckons it's 35 incoming transfers

I’m finding it nice and relaxing, without all the ridiculous links and will they / won’t they. If we get one or two in to add a bit of squad depth, fine, but if no one arrives I won’t be overly disappointed or worried.

As it is couldn’t give a f’ck really. If we have to go with what we’ve got then not worried at all. McKenna has said they only want to do deals that are right for the club, and right for ‘the group’ and not just sign players for the sake of it.

| Why have our recent transfer windows become so difficult to endure? on 21:27 - Jan 21 with 224 views | Nutkins_Return | We have a top quality squad at the level we are at. We're not playing catch up. We are only going to sign players that make us better and ideally can play level above. Not hard to understand why it's more difficult and takes longer as the players we are after may be looking at prem options as well. | |

I can see us not signing any additional players. We still have.s couple of levels with this team any new players unless premier level will not help us. Need to keep our Dosh for the next window.

I'll start Paul Green Ben Pringle Giles Coke Nathan Ellington (not good Nathan Ellington, we all knew he was past it Nathan Ellington) Sylvan Ebanks Bkake (not good Sylvan...) Tyrone WTAF Barnett To name a few
