People seem to want change for change's sake. We've had a lot of churn over the last three windows, and many were bemoaning the results early this season whilst players were being bedded in.
We've had the best squad in the league since the summer window closed and should only be looking at long term signings who can step up with up to the prem.

Quietest window ever? on 13:18 - Jan 22 with 1129 views
Below is a table of players moving to Championship clubs from 1st January to yesterday.
The window has actually been slightly less quiet than last season, with 36 signings to this point against 32 in 2025, but with one fewer club having hired nobody.
Edit: I think two or three clubs are under some sort of transfer embargo or restrictions.

I don't think we need change. We need backup for Matusiwa and without Nunez we haven't got a number 10. Various players have been tried, but none so effective. Cairney from Fulham would have been ideal, but he appears to be off the radar now. I thought somebody may have been a possibility from the Africa Nations Cup and be in by now, but obviously not.
