There’s lots of videos around showing Alex Pretti being beaten on the ground, and then being shot multiple times, it’s awful it looks like an execution - but the fact there was a scuffle and the fact he supposedly had a firearm has given Trump, Vance and Noem a narrative to provide a warped view that he deserved it. That he was a domestic terrorist and not an outdoor loving ICU nurse who worked with war veterans.
But this video clearly shows he was protecting a woman who was being badly mishandled, and then he is pepper sprayed and then badly beaten immediately
The violence against him is immediate and clearly completely disproportionate AND he was acting to protect someone - not provoking - he continues to try and protect the woman, and is savaged

I wish it would make a difference, but you’re dealing with people who have no soul, conscience, morality. They’ll never admit to wrongdoing and there will be no accountability. I was wondering about this. With the administration's authorisation of ICE's unaccountable ask-no-questions shoot-to-kill policy, protest is as dangerous as it was in Tainanmen Square. Would I have been brave enough to stand in front of a tank there? Would I be brave enough to protest in USA today?
