| Your team for tomorrow on 08:50 - Jan 30 with 2746 views | AljoBlue | That is my selection as well. I'd still limit Wes to 60 minutes for a few more games, with Egeli to replace him each time | | | |

| Your team for tomorrow on 08:54 - Jan 30 with 2709 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | Same also. I do wonder if Neil will be on the bench though given his lack of game time this season. In which case being at home, and looking better lately we might see Cajuste start? | | | |

I think that’s the only call McKenna has to make. The rest of the team picks itself. I wonder who misses out on the bench when everyone is fit?

| Your team for tomorrow on 09:08 - Jan 30 with 2586 views | Nutkins_Return | I don't think Neil will start with so little football. He will be a bit more like the Luongo signing and eased in. Walton Furlong Oshea Kipre Davis Matusiwa Cajuste Burns Nunez Clarke Hirst | |

| Your team for tomorrow on 09:25 - Jan 30 with 2389 views | cambs_blue | Team looks great. I think I'd go with Hirst though. Purely because it feels like good opportunity to see if he can rediscover some confidence and form. A confident Hirst can score the goals to get us promoted. I'm still to be convinced that Azon can (although he has been good the last couple of games). | | | |

I suspect Cajuste to start and Neil from the bench. Other than that, if Nunez is still unavailable the rest of the team picks itself as per Glasser’s OP.

| Your team for tomorrow on 09:46 - Jan 30 with 2140 views | NthQldITFC | Similar, with planned changes: Walton Furlong O’Shea Kipre Davis Matusiwa Cajuste > Neil (pressure on Cajuste to give a good 60, and off Neil from the start) Burns > McAteer Mehmeti > Egeli Clarke Azon > Hirst | |

I think Hirst needs ideally to be coming on in games where we're already in front. If not, with the crowd on edge, his first bad touch and every bad touch thereafter will heap more pressure on him. He desperately needs to find some confidence again, as you say. He needs to slow his game down a little bit and get the basics right, but that's a balance with the team needing a sharp number 9 in terms of building attacks.

I agree, only caveat is Neil isn't going to get match fit unless he plays. I can see him starting but subbed on 60 mins

Whenever he gets on (and I’m sure he’ll be involved), I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do.

| Your team for tomorrow on 10:14 - Jan 30 with 1872 views | TownieRob | Exactly how I see it. I believe I read about how Dan Neil was still setting the standards and culture in training at Sunderland despite not playing. With that in mind I would expect him to be good from the off for at least 60mins. Hoping for a fast start and good performance tomorrow. That side gives us the best possible chance of that. | | | |
| Your team for tomorrow on 11:12 - Jan 30 with 1619 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | Agree. Not bothered about Neil's lack of minutes. Preston were abject vs Boro, this is the perfect chance to get him fit. He has been training. | |

| Your team for tomorrow on 11:39 - Jan 30 with 1466 views | LegendofthePhoenix | it bodes well that pretty much everyone is now agreed on our strongest starting line up. Neil is surely a bit short on match fitness, so I could also see him start on the bench and come on at 65 minutes. Nunez would start as 10 if he was fit, again to be replaced by Mehmeti. And the same with Philogene & Clarke. We have a settled starting group and finishing group, and there is no drop off in quality. Must be intimidating for opponents. | |
