Wouldn't say we've lacked passion - Nunez is hardly reserved, Taylor, Azon and McAteer are full of energy, Furlong doesn't hide his feelings.

McKenna got to let him be what he is not find another position or way to play was superb yesterday . With Billy Jean and Nùnez to come back we have every chance to go up.

Albanian football has come on in leaps and bounds in general in recent times. The national team is no longer automatically an easy touch, especially at home. AM is part of that progression.

To be fair, he appears to have been brought up in London

| Did anyone else notice on 20:36 - Feb 8 with 2245 views | Devereuxxx | Also loved the post match interview when Leif said he'd asked him after the Bristol City match if he was joining and Anis apparently replied "yep, looks that way." Must have been an incredibly weird feeling playing against a team you are joining imminently, but shows he's a top pro for still putting the shirt on and respecting his employers. He was magic yesterday, linking up with Clarke really well. Looks like such an astute signing. | | | |

He’s surprised me in the 10 role, I have to say. Having only really ever seen him when he’s played out wide, I was sceptical how he’d fit in the 10 as they’re generally our ‘link’ man, and didn’t think he’d suit that ala Akpom and Szmodics. Very wrong, looks every bit of a number 10 with the way he gets us going in the middle and suspect that’s why McKenna longed out the Chaplin loan extension to get him through the door.

Think he spent quite a lot of his time in age-group football as a deep playmaker – certainly seems to be bringing a few elements of that so far. Has a real head-up urgency about him, it's a real benefit to us in a position where we've sometimes looked a little off it this season.

Agree on the head up part, also saw elements of that in Dan Neil’s game as well. Driving with the ball from midfield which we’ve missed a little since Morsy left. 2 really astute signings who have lifted the group.

Was it Davis in his Sky interview on the pitch at the end of the game who said he was delighted to have such a high quality player as Mehmeti at the club? He seems a steal at £3M. Bristol must be nuts to let him go.

Resigned to his contract situation after he declined their extension offer. Online fans seemed split on whether they mishandled timings because he's become much more effective this season, a surprise to many.

Enough of the positivity about the manager and recruitment team - we don't do that here.

| Did anyone else notice on 10:30 - Feb 9 with 900 views | Pinewoodblue | Mehmeti is used to playing full 90 minutes. No longer any need to conserve his energy as he won’t be required to do that at Ipswich, especially once Nunez is back. Can you imagine the havoc he will cause if he comes on as a sub with 30 minutes to play. | |

That's a very good point as I actually thought he was looking more dangerous the longer he was on the pitch, as they started to tire. The thing I like most about him is that he has that Clarke, Philogene instinct where you can see that whenever he finds space, he is trying his utmost to set himself for a shot. Definitely gives us a different perspective.
