| McKenna out 16:49 - Feb 21 with 5502 views | Waig | It’s time, I’m sorry. He’s finished here, too many mistakes, dreadful transfer windows obsession with wingers (he inherited Cooks great work don’t forget) | | | | |
| McKenna out on 17:12 - Feb 21 with 965 views | TheBoyBlue | The club is generally going in the right direction. Whether it is this season or next or even without McKenna (but hopefully with!) this club is building towards being an established Premier League team. Can't guarantee that will happen of course, but the facilities, the plans for the stadium, the quality of player we now attract is on an upward trajectory. Today was rubbish though, especially from defence. | |

| McKenna out on 17:13 - Feb 21 with 947 views | Facefacts | We can't afford to sack him. And we have no better option. I'll drive him to all the PL clubs who are interested in him. Ashton can go too. Surely the owners and any new money coming in will be scouring world football for execs who can attract better players and a more experienced manager. | | | |

Good for Moore and Broadhead to score today. Look at their celebrations, it was two fingers up at McK and MA. Still beggars belief we didn't sign Moore and got rid of Broadhead only to replace them with crap

| McKenna out on 17:45 - Feb 21 with 789 views | RobTheMonk | I think if you're going to say these without adding points, then it's a pointless post. We've had two back to back promotions, one completely unexpected. Premier League was a step too far as happens with a lot of teams. Back in the Championship with top two expectations. Coventry had a miracle first half of the season. Still top four. Lots of games to go. Being in the premier league doesn't automatically result in HMS p1ss the league when relegated. However, we have overspent on some players. I think we play with a lack of intensity. The camaraderie is not what it was, which is understandable. We've just conceded 5 goals, which at any level is bad. Something needs changing. At present, I think it's better the devil you know, especially at this point of the season. Anything other than playoffs or promotion and then it's a different story. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| McKenna out on 17:49 - Feb 21 with 768 views | have_a_word_with_him | No no no. Some obvious problems in this squad and he absolutely has to take some blame for that. On-field leadership and fight seems a distant memory, and some of the recruitment has been really poor and even confusing. But be very careful what you wish for, and take another look at the table. | | | |

However this season ends - unless we drop something like five or less points between now and May - I think there needs to be a thorough investigation into decision making post Premier League promotion. We put ourselves in a good position, not for last season but this, and are not making the most of it. That doesn't mean people getting the sack, but it does mean some honesty and a change in approach for the summer. I'd love someone to come in who has oversight on Ashton. For me, he has too much power as it stands.

It's not two fingers up at anyone. It's just a good day at the office for them and a bad one for Ipswich. Stop making out there's some bigger issue here.

Well, isn't it a trend and a form of respect for a player not to celebrate (at least too wildly) when he scores against his former club? See Szmodics scoring v Blackburn for example Broadhead didn't celebrate either when he scored for us against Sunderland

What motivation do either have to "stick fingers up" at McKenna? Moore was never our player. Broadhead wanted to play for Wrexham and got what he wanted. Never any report of any beefs among them.

You apparently forgot how Broadhead got sidelined by McK in the Prem to the extent his mum had to go on social media announcing to the whole world that her son was fit

| McKenna out on 19:00 - Feb 21 with 514 views | TheMover | How many times gave other clubs sacked their managers whilst in a less advantageous position than we are currently in? This forum them debate why the fcuk did they sack their manager? They still had a chance to reach the play offs/promotion! Yet our own 'supporters' are calling for his head when we are still mathematically able to finish in the autos. Does anyone really think that any manager would tell their players to give the ball away in a dangerous position, or get out of position when defending, or slip when looking to make a challange or any other thing that can happen when you are playing an actual game. If nothing ever went wrong every game would end up 0-0. The next time someone calls for the manager to be sacked could they please let everybody know which company they are a manager at so we can all critique the performance of their organisation. | | | |

Exactly Kmac had a very disruptive season end and key players he wanted to stay wanted away. This team is decent, the best team in the league for a couple of months. Today was horrific and there is something missing from this team compared to 23/24 but it’s still in our hands, with play offs as back up.

| McKenna out on 20:21 - Feb 21 with 583 views | mrshallisfit | How does this get 70 downvotes. He is the manager. He is failing. Ultimately we wont go up automately and Im increasingly thinking we will fail in the play offs. That, with the resources to his disposal is poor. Very poor. We are getting to the sharp end of the season. There is less room for excuses. Less place to hide behind "Well we have only had 10 or so games to gel. "There is still lots of time and points to play for. Soon there will be nowhere to hide for McKennas failings. | | | |
