Watford A - Loss
Swansea H - Win
Hull H - Draw
Leicester H - Draw
Stoke A - Draw
Sheff W A - Win

9 points for me

Rowett will set up Leicester to stifle us and use pace to break

We have no momentum at all and frankly have been helped out by others failings today, apart from Cov of course

Tuesday feels like a really big game and we need to stand up to them

Watford are improving at the wrong time so I would tend to agree with your prediction. After that who knows which Town will turn up?

Not being able to set up to defend with a back 4 and 3 in the middle to protect a lead seems bonkers.

We would still have 3 forward thinking players to exploit a break.

All change again in the summer I think

Win on Tuesday and I can see us winning at least 2 of those home games and we will go to Stoke in great form.

5 wins and a draw for me

Swansea on the up, if they score first we know what happens.

Every game is huge now, Stoke can't buy a win so I put that down as a loss too.

Truth is we've barely been in top two 99% of the season and don't deserve to be.

I will, looking again at those 6 I think 10 points would be decent as well have a slip up in us.

I’ve been drinking all day in my defence

We have to win on Tuesday. Need 15 points from next 18.

9 would be very poor.

If there's one thing you can predict in this division it is that it is utterly unpredictable. I don't imagine that we'll win all 6 (we haven't even hinted at putting that sort of run together this season), but it feels just as probable that we'll get 15/16 points as we get 5/6 points!

8 points from 2nd, 5 points clear of 7th.

It feels like we are looking down rather that up, but that Cov away performance was one that only we could have put in.

If we can get to that level again, my optimism might be justified.

It may be straw clutching but who knows

Christ, that’s a very punchy prediction from the drunk me yesterday.

The sober me today has 3 wins, 2 losses and a draw out of that lot

We need to be smarter in games.

I think Wrexham had 4 players who ‘took a yellow’ yesterday to stop is breaking. When was the last time we did that? We’re too nice.

It also felt that at 3-2 up we never really went for another which would likely have seen us win. We went back to playing around at the back with little urgency. That went well…

We’re basically at the crunch point - we can’t afford to be losing many more. We need 15 points from these games 5W 1L or maybe 14 with 4W 2D. Losing on Tuesday would be a disaster.

....I may "boo".

I appreciate this will upset many on here.

I can see 5 points from those matches, plus whatever we get from Sheffield.

So possibly 5, maybe 6. Max 8.

Gonna be positive maybe based on blind optimism and say backs being to the wall might bring the best of Ipswich. These are also kind fixtures and may allow us to start picking up some real momentum.

Watford away - Draw (lucky draw and more doom and gloom)
Swansea H - Win (gritty and tight get back on track performance)
Hull H - Win (statement performance- convincing win by 2 or 3 goals)
Leicester H - Win (early goals and professional)
Stoke A - Win (good away performance with a couple of goals)
Sheff Weds A - Win (1 nil underwhelming but that's 5 wins in a row)

16 points and right back on the coat tails of Cov and Boro.

Just can’t see a five game winning streak coming out of nowhere, simply because KM won’t be making any radical changes to the approach he’s decided offers us the best chance of going up.

First things first though, a reaction on Tuesday night is absolutely essential.

Having said that, I’m going for a nasty, nervy but ultimately unlucky (possible contentious red card) 2-1 loss at Watford, a scratchy 2-1 win over Swansea, an ugly 1 all with Hull, comfortable 3-1 win over Leicester, horrible 1 nil reverse at Stoke and a flat track bullying 3-1 win at Weds.

Those 10 points might still leave everything in our own hands, virtually impossible to predict how Boro respond to two disappointing results and whether Coventry have fully got over that two month horror show…

Enjoy the ride, I guess, but it isn’t going to be pretty.

Swansea are a much better side than the one we beat in South Wales, but their away form isn’t great and they struggle to score. We should be ok for that one. Watford concerns me though. It depends which version of them turns up as they’re fairly unpredictable. But when they’re on it, their pace and power across their forwards could cause us problems.
