So fecking annoying. Gives us more recovery time after Pompey so I'm sure the club was all for it, but its horrible for me. I've got a charity golf thing so won't be able to go to the game now. Fuuuuming.

More of a pain for the Boro fans, I'd suggest.

The flat atmosphere that accompanies an early kick off can only benefit Boro

We have just one 3pm on a Saturday game left and probably a good chance WBA away will be moved for the benefit of Sky.

It'll be a full house and likely 6-pointer for automatic promotion. That's a poor excuse if the atmosphere's not red hot. We managed that with similar kick-off times against Exeter, Huddersfield and Norwich earlier this season.

It would, but this is the sharp end of the season, and we're strongly in contention for promotion.

If we can't generate an atmosphere under those circumstances, then we don't deserve a good result.

- 3pm games on a Saturday are sacred.
- Therefore punters must not stay away from grounds and watch them on TV.
- Therefore 3pm games on a Saturday must not be shown on TV.
- Football matches are shown on TV, of course.
- Therefore 3pm matches on a Saturday must move.
- Thus all of the 3pm matches on a Saturday stay sacred.
- Except there aren't any.

The good news is that I can see the game now! I was going to have to resell the ticket as I’m travelling back from Germany Saturday pm! Hurrah!

On a non selfish note, I actually detest this moving of fixtures for tv or any other reasons. Hate early kick offs too. The supporters seem to be the last people they care about, yet without them there is no spectacle for tv.

8 of our 23 home games this season at 3pm on a Saturday. Stinks.

It'll only be 3 in 2026 until August at the earliest when we might be treated to the 4th.

Guess that means the match is live on TV so why else change date and time?

I watched the Ladies Euros final (when England beat Germany) on a gigantic screen above the open-deck swimming pool on our first cruise. There was probably a couple of thousand watching it. Quite an atmosphere.

You'll be very lucky if they repeat that for the Boro game!

No Greater Anglia trains on this date from Bury SE to Ipswich or from Norwich to Ipswich. Unless I have misunderstood the Greater Anglia information. I'm sure someone will check this and report here. Does Mark Ashton know about this ? https://www.greateranglia.co.u

Unfortunately, they don’t give a flying fig about fans who actually attend games. It’s all about the TV audiences (I assume this has been moved for Sky and not the plod, which would make no sense).

I hate Sky with a passion. They’re killing the game for real fans. Be that people having to travel the length of the country on a work night or at 5 am on a Sunday morning, or the obscene financial and therefore competitive inequality their model has delivered. Bunch of ****s (imvho )

Of course it's all about Sky's tv audiences, that's why they pay what they do for TV rights as offered by the EFL and voted for buy the EFL clubs. Why should Sky give a #### for the fans who attend? We're just the equivalent of a studio audience at a tv talent show. Only people to blame are the club owners/management who voted for the sky deal so they can pay the players etc more than they could without it.

Never forget that in April 2021, for ITFC, the Game Changed.
