| Concerts at Portman Road on 20:15 - Mar 24 by urbanpenguin | I would say Radiohead, but I really dislike stadium and arena gigs |
I would say Radiohead too, but I really dislike Radiohead! Actually that’s not right. I loved their stuff up until they disappeared up their own backsides. I tried, but I couldn’t follow them into their experimental phase, but realise that many loved all that stuff, which is fine. I’d like to see the original line up of Lynyrd Skynyrd recreate their ‘76 Knenbworth gig, but that ain’t gonna happen :(

Also absolutely the wrong way around - and I would see that gig even though I detest Oasis, I'd just love to see the Gallagher's deal with being third support act to blur.

| Concerts at Portman Road on 20:14 - Mar 24 by Dubtractor | Everyone has surely heard of them? Absolutely legendary, and hugely influential. |
You are spot on my friend. Best not get me started on it or I'll be here all night! Saw them at their absolute peak in the mid/late 70's, original mothership landing and all. The most important thing about any concert is of course the music, but these guys knew the fans wanted a show too, and they most certainly weren't short changed! That one lasted for around 4 hours! They still know how to do it today.

| Concerts at Portman Road on 08:19 - Mar 25 with 512 views | Eiffel78 | I'd go for Pulp with one of Manic Street Preachers, Richard Ashcroft, or Suede as "special guests" (they're all far too big to be called support acts), and maybe a local band to open. | | | |

Skynyrd would be good. Though using the Confederate flag backdrop would possibly cause another outrage of Farage-gate proprtions. The other live recording they made in the UK was in 1975 and was less of a sonic overload as they were down to 2 lead guitarists rather than the usual 3. Ironically it was recorded down the road from you at the Capitol Theatre Cardiff.

If we're going with the dear departed then Bob Marley and the Wailers supported by The Clash. Paul Lambert to make a guest appearance for backing vocals on 'Three Little Birds' - because that would be less embarrassing than the club's statement on Faragegate. And Delia could rouse the crowd with a 'let's be 'avin' yer' because that would also be less embarrassing.
