25/26 Norwich City Away Match Sales 'Profile' by
tommcd 20 Mar 16:2425/26 Norwich City Away Match Sales 'Profile'
The Norwich fixture sold out Friday 20th of March, during 30+ Window. The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows.
Summary:
- The Club announced an initial allocation of 2003 tickets, the seatmap matched this
- The Club retained a total of 235 seats (Club allocation, steward use, ballot etc) with 40 of these anticipated to be for the eventual Ballot.
- There were 26 wheelchair / assistant / ambulant seats.
- A total of
1742 tickets were available for purchase for across Member Sales.
- All blocks went on sale from the first window.
Per Window Sales:
- 1395 (80.08% of allocated seats) sold in the 40+ window.
- 307 (17.62% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.
- 40 (2.3% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.
Points of Note:
* Despite predictions there was no additional 45+ Window added for this sale. Looking at remaining unsold fixtures (Soton, Charlton, West Brom), all with larger allocations (quick google suggests they're all 2.5-3k-ish visitor allocations), 45+ may not be needed (at least not in the 'regular' season...).
* Ticket collection arrangement will make it hard for anyone who tries to keep their points high by purchasing then moving the ticket on to someone else. The collection arrangements aren't as restrictive as initially feared so shouldn't be much of a discouraging factor.
* Sales within 40+ saw a big jump compared to usual, that jump wasn't matched by 35+. To me that gives some indication that maybe 150 or so 40+ pointers usually wait 'til lower windows to purchase, but didn't for this fixture given the risk of missing out.
* Club retained tickets were 'up'
slightly over similar allocations but certainly not to 'Wardley & friends' controversial amounts. Disabled seating is comparatively limited at Carrow Road, and looking at the location of some of the retained seats, could also be that a few front row seats were retained to add to the 'ambulant' pool.
