If we break down those 3 minutes, it's quite interesting.
What, specifically is he apologising for? Hurt and pain but not for obfuscating, lying and doubling down? Not for allowing the Club to become a pawn and vehicle for a political party.
He talks of a stressful week as if something is 'being done' to the Club, yet this is down to the Club and mainly MA himself. It's of his own making.
The Board and Club will learn lessons but what might those be?
Is there any ownership or accountability? Does he, himself, apologise or talk about his role....as our CEO?

The Board and the Club will learn lessons....notably no admission that HE will learn any lessons. Why? Because in his eyes, he's done no wrong. Its not " his" fault (Chairman and CEO accountability doesn't apply to him it seems). At every given point in his "apology" he constantly distances himself from any personal involvement.
I honestly can't see how he can possibly keep his job at Town, when as the Chairman & CEO he IS responsible.

This week has really hurt many of us deeply. if you haven't, read GB's excellent post about why it hurts fans so much this week. And I say this as someone who is poles apart from Glasgow's politics and who cannot ever be described as a woke leftie, but who summed up many fans' thoughts superbly.

I've been taking my boy to Ipswich games since he was six years old. Just as my late father did with me in the 1970's. He's a grown man now. Living away from home. Driving down to norther away games is a rare chance for us to share precious time in a shared passion.
In 52 years of supporting Ipswich I have seen highs and lows, but I have never been so utterly embarrassed and ashamed as a supporter and fan until a far right racist scumbag hijacked my club's badge and colours in order to promote his hateful politics. And that is on one man alone. Mark Ashton.
Most of us on here bleed Blue and White. It's as if poison has been injected into our veins and we have been infected. That is how much my club and your club means to me.

That shouldn’t be ok for any supporter, it’s bad all to do with politics, it’s about integrity, judgement, basic business acumen and actually valuing our club our brand, our commercial needs.
We can’t be successful if we mitigate the addressable market we operate in, it’s not possible, players, coaches sponsors, match day revenue, there’s no upside to this, it’s just a case of how big the downside will be - a few layers and staff members, a few signings missed, a few million here and there, a few boot deals that cat bender and cost us players, an increase in wages to offset commercial opportunities missed for lakyers etc etc

As someone who lives business, that this incompetant, sociopathic baboon has had the keys to the castle, and full executive control with zero oversight breaks my heart.
We are better than this, I had students aged 17 would have worked these dynamics out - he’s 35 years in the game!!!! .., owned by a politician, completely ruined him, and all of his own making, his ego couldn’t resist.
I hate stupid people, I don’t like a lack of honesty and integrity, and I’m not big on his a lies either, but it’s his complete lack of basic business 101 understanding that kills me.., it’s like he has zero respect or worryingly lack of ‘stakeholder’ investment in our future.
